On 11th February 2017, KYP has utilized the opportunity to celebrate Chinese New Year, even though it was the last day celebration in the lunar calendar. KUANTAN: Kolej Yayasan Pahang (KYP) became the first campus in the country to offer Level 3 Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) courses for Orang Asli development.
Deputy Human Resources Minister Dato’ Sri Ismail Abd Muttalib said the accreditation will enable the Orang Asli Civilisation Development Program (Program Pembangunan Tamadun Masyarakat Orang Asli or Petama) students to be recognised at the national stage compared to previously only at state level.Read more
KYP received a visit from one of its MoU partners from Indonesia, Universitas Islam Riau on 7th January 2017. In conjunction with the visit, an International Mini Colloquium on Islamic Studies & Social Science was conducted at Yayasan Pahang Complex.Read more
2017 is approaching and Kolej Yayasan Pahang is looking forward to a bright new year. A retreat was held at Swiss-Garden Resort Residences on 29th December 2016 to discuss the pathway of KYP for the year 2017.There were thirty (30) management committee members that comprises of the vice presidents, head of departments and deans participated in the one-day retreat. On 17th December 2016, KYP Convocation & Malaysian Skills Commissioning Ceremony 2016 was held at Dewan Jubli Perak Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Kuantan, Pahang. The ceremony was attended by Pahang Chief Minister, YAB Dato’ Sri Diraja Hj Adnan Bin Hj Yaakob. There were 784 graduates from KYP and KYP Advanced Skills received their scrolls during the convocation.Read more
