TEEN2U@PAWE Programme

On 10th July 2017, a group of KYP students were invited to participate in TEEN2U@PAWE program that was held in Jengka 3, Bandar Tun Abdul Razak. The Pusat Aktiviti Warga Emas (PAWE) program was organized by Lembaga Penduduk dan Pembangunan Keluarga Negara (LPPKN) Pahang and officiated by YB Dato’ Hjh Shahaniza Shamsuddin, Pahang Chairman of State Women and Family Development, Communications and Multimedia Committee.

Also present was YH Dato’ Dr. Siti Norisiah Ismail, LPPKN Director. One of the aims of conducting TEEN2U@PAWE program is to nourish positive moral values among the youths. Thus, KYP took the opportunity to participate in such a noble program. Fifteen (15) KYP students from various backgrounds joined the one-day program. At Rumah Rakyat Felda Dahlia, Jengka 3, the students were given the chance to visit senior citizens and to clean up their residence. Apart from that, the students also were given the opportunity to join Foster Family program. This program allowed them to develop real life kampung experience as well as to learn more about positive community values.

“This is a very good program. This program enables the students and the community to learn about each other despite their age difference. I hope this kind of program will continue as it could develop a harmonious society through the experience gathered today from the activities that they have done,” said Dato’ Hjh Shahaniza Shamsuddin.
